Customer data policy

List of third-party companies that your data may or may not be shared with

While we try to develop our own solutions instead of using third-party services, there still are several tools we use which are required for us to operate. Some of your data may be shared with certain third parties. Here's what may be shared, with whom and why.

Hetzner

Website

While we don't purposefully send any of your personal data to Hetzner, we do rent our servers from them. This means that all of your data, as well as your website's analytics data inevitably ends up on our servers provided by Hetzner to which they may be able to obtain access to.

Sentry

Website

What may be shared: Your E-Mail address

Why: We use Sentry which notifies us if anything goes wrong in one of our applications. If an error has occurred while you were using Alpina then we will receive information about the error as well as your E-Mail address. This helps us fix bugs without our customers having to contact us. Your E-Mail address might be sent to Sentry because in certain cases an error may occur only on your account, without this information we might no be able to reproduce the issue to fix it.

Mailgun

Website

What may be shared: Your E-Mail address

Why: We use Mailgun to send messages to your E-Mail address (for example authentication codes when you try to login).

Fastmail

Website

What may be shared: Your E-Mail address

Why: We have several integrations which may send us E-Mails containing your E-Mail address (for example if you contact us through Crisp Chat).
